Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it, under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
Who we are
This website is run by TIAP Hardware, Kapenguria Road, Kitale.
What we collect
- Enquiries and quote requests. The name, phone number, e-mail (if you give one), message and list of products you send us. We use them only to reply to you and prepare your quote.
- Your quote list. Kept in your own browser until you send it. We do not see it until you submit the form.
- Anonymous usage statistics. Which pages and products are viewed, what is searched for, and which contact buttons are pressed. No cookies, no IP addresses and no advertising or tracking services are used.
If you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation is handled by our WhatsApp assistant and the TIAP team, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request and keep reasonable business records. Usage statistics are deleted after about a year.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by e-mailing tiaptilesandhardware@gmail.com.
